ProSphere is currently seeking a seasoned Cloud Systems Engineer/Administrator with enterprise-level experience in supporting customer IT operations while maintaining and working within a 24x7x365 environment.   The candidate will support the technical hosting environment(s) and will be tasked with deploying new technologies within the organization. The candidate should also possess knowledge with Virtual Machine implementations and backup and recovery services. The role also requires the ability to create comprehensive documentation and diagrams.   A candidate that has a passion for learning new technologies and keeping up with new advancements is desired. Having the ability to understand concepts such as IT Service Management and Change Management are a plus.   A Public Trust clearance process will be initiated if the candidate is chosen for the opportunity. Persons in this position will be required to be the Tier 1 first respondent to end-user requests for assistance in the operation and functionality of their computing systems, software, peripheral and other devices. The successful candidate must be able to assist the user in the use of existing manuals and non-scripted or automated system responses in clearing Tier 1 trouble tickets.  The candidate must be able to effectively interact with the user and be able to refer ongoing or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical, analysis, assurance or engineering support team at Tier 2. Individuals in this role must possess effective communication skills, have an attention to detail, and be willing to work as part of an integrated team consisting of both Government and contractor personnel on a nationwide level. VALI Tier 2 provides support to the VA’s Learning Management System (LMS) application, known as the Talent Management System (TMS). This position is responsible for resolving tickets escalated to the VALI Tier 2 Team from the VA TMS Learning Administrators, VA’s Enterprise Service Desk (ESD), and working closely with other VALI-supported help desks. Customer Service Technicians are the primary system administrator for the TMS. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software integrated with the TMS. ProSphere is offering free IT Training. This offer is only available to Military Veterans who live within 1 hour of Bossier City, LA and Barbourville, KY.  We pay $10 per hour up to 30 hours a month for 3 months. All aspects of this training will be completed virtually which includes an one hour orientation. All training is self-paced and can be completed from the comfort of your own home during the time that fits your schedule.    This is a temporary, part-time position which, upon successful completion, if interested, may lead to a future career opportunity as a Customer Service Technician.
