VALI Tier 2 provides support to the VA’s Learning Management System (LMS) application, known as the Talent Management System (TMS). This position is responsible for resolving tickets escalated to the VALI Tier 2 Team from the VA TMS Learning Administrators, VA’s Enterprise Service Desk (ESD), and working closely with other VALI-supported help desks. Customer Service Technicians are the primary system administrator for the TMS. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software integrated with the TMS. ProSphere is currently seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer with enterprise-level experience in supporting customer IT operations while maintaining and working within a 24x7x365 datacenter environment.      The candidate will be tasked with deploying new technologies within the organization, specifically planning and acting on the migration of on premise services to the Microsoft Azure Government Cloud. The candidate should also possess knowledge with VDI implementations, primarily Citrix, to support, and maintain the VDI environment. In addition, the candidate should have experience and understanding of system backup solutions (i.e. CommVault. This role also requires the ability to create comprehensive documentation and diagrams, to support managing technologies that have been deployed to the organization. A candidate that has a knack for learning new technologies and keeping up with new advancements, as well as possessing time management skills to balance multiple project assignments is highly desired. The Data Scientist will lead efforts to expand the data science capabilities of customer’s analytics platform. The individual in this position will have a solid background in production-level machine learning systems with broad exposure to a wide variety of algorithmic techniques. ProSphere is offering free IT Training. This offer is only available to Military Veterans who live within 1 hour of Bossier City, LA and Barbourville, KY.  We pay $10 per hour up to 30 hours a month for 3 months. All aspects of this training will be completed virtually which includes an one hour orientation. All training is self-paced and can be completed from the comfort of your own home during the time that fits your schedule.    This is a temporary, part-time position which, upon successful completion, if interested, may lead to a future career opportunity as a Customer Service Technician.
