ProSphere is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Certified System Administrator with strong knowledge of creating plans to assure effective management, operations and maintenance of systems and or networks. We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of ServiceNow, and can provide mastery of ServiceNow System Administration that has the skills and essential knowledge necessary to manage the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the ServiceNow system. Shall have industry experience with database concepts and system management, knowledge of IT Help Desk processes and the incident, problem and change workflows processes This is a full-time opportunity in Washington, DC.  Veterans are encouraged to apply.

• Administer and maintain all customer servers, both physical and virtual in a Windows and Linux environment
• Provide all subject matter expertise for ServiceNow
• Analyze and report on daily event logs – provide corrective action as is required
• Maintain a 99.999% operational availability not related to any government related or responsible event
• Perform monthly security/system patches and updates manually 
• Participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the infrastructure
• Resolve a wide range of hardware and network technology issues in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Responsible for all assigned trouble tickets from creation to resolution
• Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values
• Troubleshooting ranges from basic issues to email related issues for Executive level users
• Train and/or advise mid-level and/or junior-level System Administrators performing similar work
• Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and network infrastructure

• Bachelor degree in computer science, systems engineering or related technical discipline is preferred
• ServiceNow Certification required
• 6+ months of hands-on experience using and maintaining an instance in ServiceNow
• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Experience providing IT support to multiple work sites
• MS Active Directory administration (Users, Groups, GPO, Security, etc.)
• PowerShell scripting is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills are required
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills for Desktops and Laptops
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users
• Capable of working under pressure, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience providing services to the federal government is preferred
• Travel may be required
• Ability to work overtime required on occasion
• Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time
• Remote and on-call responsibilities may be required
