ProSphere is seeking a MAC Support Technician, specializing in Apple (MAC) desktop, to provide on-site Technical Support for one of our federal government clients.  This is a full time position located in Washington DC.   Veterans are encouraged to apply.


  • Able to quickly respond to end user requests for assistance when existing manuals and scripted responses are not sufficient to meet user needs
  • Must be able to interact with customers and diagnose problems and lead customers through the necessary steps to correct their issues
  • Good oral and written skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical and end-user problems in a customer service oriented team environment
  • Experience installing and maintaining, applications and associated hardware and peripherals; assisting users with IT procedures, system setup and network troubleshooting
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills for federal government client(s) strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users
  • Capable to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Provide JAMF Casper Imaging Support
  • Install, configure and manage JAMF Casper Software Server.
  • Build software package configurations.
  • Manage multiple images from the configurations in the library of custom packages.
  • Develop IT technical documentation to support the creation and delivery of the imaging process.
  • Manage software application and upgrades.
  • Absolute Manage support
  • Create Smart Groups, Generate Packages and Payloads.
  • Push/Update software packages, Push/Update Client agents.
  • Design Smart Group Reporting Groups.
  • Create Power Management and energy efficiency compliance policy.
  • Develop IT technical documentation to support the software tool.
  • Manage software application and upgrades.


  • Apple Certified bgor higher
  • Prior experience with US Government Agencies
  • Must have excellent Customer Services skills
  • Travel may be required
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion
  • Ability to sit and stand in an office environment for long periods of time
  • Remote and on-call responsibilities may be required
