ProSphere is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support one of Federal clients. The SharePoint Administrator, under the guidance of the SharePoint Lead, will support the design, development, maintenance, testing, and deployment of legacy and emerging SharePoint initiatives. The individual in this position will have experience in developing SharePoint applications, understanding business processes and developing use cases, and ensuring that applicable Microsoft SharePoint and client standards are maintained. The SharePoint Administrator will have experience developing SharePoint solutions, implementing security controls, and supporting SharePoint administration activities, as designated by the SharePoint Lead.


  • Provide Microsoft SharePoint development and programming support across the supported customer networks and web applications
  • Provide web development and version control for a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment using Government provided tools
  • Support the creation of fully deployable solutions.
  • Support the development of level of effort estimates required for all design, development, deployment, and testing.
  • Create and update wireframes, mockups, Use Case Diagrams, and Flowcharts.
  • During the development phase, use designated repository for all code changes.
  • Update/create the Operations, System, and Test documentation
  • Create/update unit test plans and record the results
  • Create/update system test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with the program team to mitigate all findings identified during testing.
  • Support the build of fully deployable packages for development, staging, integration, and production environments and submit deployment requests for approval
  • Work with the SharePoint Lead to ensure all development related documents are stored in a single document repository, identified by the Government
  • Provide project status reports to the Government at all stages of the project life cycle
  • Utilize a bug tracking system to record and report failings to project managers.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is complete for each SharePoint project (examples include: SOPs, “How To” guides, testing plans, system diagrams, business processes, application topology, accreditation paperwork).
  • Provide desk side training and support for staff, end users, and managers of applications.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
  • Five years of experience in SharePoint Development (including customized code, creating/modifying web parts, creating/modifying SharePoint workflows)
  • Experience in SharePoint PowerShell modules to configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks.
  • Experience using and implementing Power Automate and SharePoint Workflows
  • Experience working on/with a team as a contributor to complete SharePoint tasks in line with organizational goals.
  • Monitoring SharePoint trends (e.g., site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth).
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding SharePoint system configuration and operation (system diagrams, application topology, data flow, SOPs, business processes, etc.).
