    ProSphere is seeking a Program Manager (PgM) with experience managing large federal government projects.  The PgM will direct a large team of federal government contractors to perform technical and professional medical claims processing services in support of a federal government agency and its customers. This is a full-time position located in Austin, TX. Veterans are encouraged to apply.


    • Serve as the primary interface with the Government client.
    • Ensure that the contract is sufficiently staffed and that there is no lapse in services.
    • Manage subcontractor contributions.
    • Provide the supervision needed for all staff to perform the scope of work accurately, efficiently and within established time frames to attain the required performance metrics.
    • Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies to the customer to meet cost, schedule, and deliverable objectives.
    • Deliver quality program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, reports, etc.) to the customer in support of the overall program.
    • Anticipate and manage any risks throughout the processes. 
    • Create ad-hoc reports to be used in the collection of metrics, documentation, historical, and financial information.
    • Maintain and update contract SharePoint site.
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings to include agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-up.
    • Collaborate with the company and client project teams.


    • Bachelor's degree
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, desired but not required.
    • At least ten (10) years of program management experience 
    • At least six (6) years of experience supervising personnel on processing medical claims and vouchers using numerous database applications
    • Proven capability and experience to supervise a team of several hundred employees and contractors
    • Experience defining, delegating and managing program staff roles and responsibilities, with demonstrated success supervising a team focused on meeting organizational goals, objectives, and strong customer service skills
    • Thorough understanding of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) and International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) and Tenth Revision Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) standards
    • Knowledge and expertise in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Project
    • In-depth understanding of billing and follow up regulations as it relates to Medicare
    • In-depth understanding of electronic claims editing and submission capabilities including Medicare and NEIC on-line claims processing and query system
    • Ability to identify problems that will impact program performance and delegate the right resources to define, recommend and implement corrective courses of action
    • Proficiency in timely and effective oral and written communication
    • Ability to work overtime required on occasion
    • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time
